You just make the fondant a light grey and then paint it with silver luster (or highlighter) dust....or make the fondant a light gold/yellow color and then paint with gold luster (or highlighter) dust...and pearl you can use pearl dust or pearl airbrush color on white or any color fondant.

I use airbrush colors for gold, silver and pearl.
They are easy and I don't have to mess with mixing the powder or dust with anything, that and those little jars are impossible to open.

Sometimes it takes a few coats to get a solid color but it works fine as long as you let it dry between applications.

To get a really nice shade of gold/silver/pearl, some paint the area first, then when it's dry, brush over it with dry dust.

Do you know what we mean when we say 'paint' ? Mix the dry petal dusts with a bit of vodka or lemon extract until it is of paint consistency.
