So I'm flying home for Spring break soon, and I'd really like to bring home my little baggie of cake decorating tips, but I've decided not to check any baggage. Has anyone brought metal tips in their carry-on? Will they get confiscated, since they're metal?

Call the airline and ask them to be sure. You never can tell these days....I mean if hand-lotion is a danger, imagine all the terrible things you could do with a star-tip. (<-----sarcasm)
