Hi CC'ers! I attempted my first Tiffany Box last night and I am very unhappy, the edges are too round, my bow looks terrible and a few other little flaws you will be able to see. It just felt like I couldnt get anything right and my fondant had started to crack. Had I overworked it attempting to get the colour?
This is the first time I have used buttercream, I usually use ganache, I suspect my fondant was too thick. What can I do to improve next time? Thanks everyone.

I think you answered your own question....your fondant was a little too thick thats all. Next time maybe knead a little shortning into your fondant that may help! Not a bad little box. Keep caking. icon_smile.gif

How square were your cake edges when you started? Along with fondant that is too thick, your corners may have been rounded to begin with.
