I am making a snickers flavored cake. Doing a chocolate layer and a vanilla layer. I was wondering if I could add carmel ice cream topping to the vanilla batter and it would still bake ok? Or if anybody has any better ideas.. ? TYIA
I'm not sure. Maybe if you replaced some of the sugar with the caramel topping... How about using the caramel topping for the filling instead?
Here is a google doc for doctored cake recipes. There are a couple of caramel cakes listed.

Not sure if it's a box or scratch cake but what about using Torani or another brand of caramel flavored syrup in the place of some liquid?
