Ok, so I earlier asked for ideas for my mother's 60 birthday cake.... today she tells me she wants a strawberry shortcake!!! Is there ANYTHING that I can do decorative with THAT??? Thanks for any ideas and responses!

I just made a strawberry shortcake wedding cake last week. I'm assuming you mean strawberry shortcake as in fruit and cake, not as in cartoon character. I did mine naked (as in not frosted) with chocolate drizzling down the sides. I did it stacked, and staggered so if you just need one cake it still looks good that way. If you want a more traditional looking decorated cake you could still do the frest fruit centers with a dam and frosted, then decorate how you want, or strawberry slices as a border against the frosting and chocolate covered strawberries on top. The possibilities are endless. I'd love to see what you decide. Here's mine from last week. HTH
