Hi - I am making a 70's disco cake and wanted to cover it with a fondant tie dye design. I have seen a few online that are strips of fondant that swirl around each other and look great but I have no idea how to do it. I dont want to roll the colors together and roll it out flat becuase I really want it more to be like a rainbow color scheme without the colors blended into each other. Has anyone ever done this? Do i just measure and cut and stick them on the cake next to each other?

Thank you!
Sheila

Seems like cake boss has a tutorial on this on his website. Going by memory, you take a ball of colors, say red, purple and yellow and knead just a couple times being careful not to over knead.
