What sort of food coloring pens do you use, or have you tried? I need to order more as my Americolor Gourmet Writers are running dry. I've tried Wilton's Food Writers, which I can buy at my local craft store, but they didn't work very well at all.

I've had decent luck with the Gourmet Writers, but I'm wondering if anyone's really got great reviews for some other brand. Has anyone tried the KopyKake pens?

I've only used the black Wilton one, but it worked well for what I used it for. I used it to mark a ruler, numbers on gum balls.... Beyond that I am no help at all. icon_smile.gif

I've bought all of them and none are great. The food doodlers have a fine tip for little items. The food writers are the best of bad choices. I usually dip them in my airbrush liquid colors to get more color. I have bought several of the refillable pens at Michaels and just fill them up with the airbrush color. They are more like a paint brush since the tip is soft.
