They have expiration dates for a reason always always go by the dates when baking especially!!

I would throw it out, too. As a matter of fact, I tossed some this weekend. I saw a news report once that it was a health risk to use out of date things like Bisquick, etc. so I always go by the date now.

If you have kids use it for crafts like paper mache and homemade play dough, if not toss it.

Check your spices, too. I did a big clean out this past fall and I was amazed how much I pitched. Doesn't do me a bit of good to buy it on sale if I end up throwing it out, huh? My pantry is much sparser, but at least it's easier to find stuff.
