I used RKT and just formed the sole part of the foot then i took little balls for the toes and just placed them. I am not an expert at all thats just what worked for me. I left mine a little bumpy because it really looked like the babies feet i was making it for. I add a picture of the cake i made

Same here....I use RKT for the feet and legs and little fondant balls for the toes. I cover mine in chocolate to get a smoother look.
