I am making a cake this week of daytona speedway...infield, track and grandstands. My question....the lights that are at the top of the grandstands....what should I make them out of? At first I thought candy straws wrapped in grey fondant with fondant that looks like lights.

Any help is appreciated

I think your idea sounds like the best option, it was my first thought as well.
