I'm having a party for my son's christening, and I wanted to make a rainbow cake. I then thought it would be very impressing to the eye to make að topsy turvy rainbow cake, do you think that's possible? Has anyone done that? The rainbow cake has so many layers, does it hold up when stacked in three tiers?

If you make a white cake you can split the batter and colour as needed. Just make sure you have a nice, sturdy cake and, provided you support it well, it should work. Would love to see your pics when you've finished it.
