a lot of people on here do 1"x1"x1"cube or 1-1/2" cubes put into the small lidded condiment cups with a label on it. This way they can take it to go (and with the label know where it came from) or eat it there if they aren't full yet.
If you do one 12x18 cake that is 2" tall. you can torte it and then cut it into 1" squares and end up with 216 samples pretty quick, it will take longer to put them all in the cups.

We are new to the business, as of November 2010.

For the bridal show, we served filled sheet cake samples in 4 ounce cups with lids. On the lids, we had a label with the name of our company, address and phone number.

We encouraged brides to take the samples home to share with their fiance. This worked out great for us, as this might have been the only sample that the men tasted.

Calls have been coming in and we've started filling our calendar with wedding cakes orders.

Good luck!
