Can someone please tell me how I would do the neck portion of this dragon. How do you get it upright. I know the head and neck are RKT's, but is there a dowel or something through it to keep from falling over.

I used a dowel in the neck of my dragon. I poked a hole in the 1-inch thick board and glued the dowel in the hole. Then, I built the neck around the dowel.

DianeLM, thanks a bundle! Did you carve the body or is it a specific pan you used?

BTW, your dragon looks AWESOME!

Thank you for the nice compliment!

The body started out as the Wilton half soccer ball pan on top of a 9-inch round. Then, I carved to shape. The haunches are actually the 'sides' of the soccer ball. Kind of like I trimmed them off, then moved them back a bit.
