I am just getting into cake decorating. I am looking for an icing recipe that decorates as well as a shortening based buttercream but is less sweet. I like the flavor of the whipped 'marshmellowy' types of icing but I don't know of a recipe that is thick enough to make flowers, etc. Thanks in advance!

I use Indydebi's BC recipe and have great results. For a less sweet taste all you have to do is add some salt to taste
