OK, so I am going to be doing a cake with a stripper on a pole. I'm really looking forward to it and have been trying like crazy to find a tutorial of how to make a person. All of them involve clothing, and the most this stripper can be wearing is panties. My main concern is the leg/arm joining points. I don't want the stripper to look too "doll like". TIA

There are a couple of Debbie Brown books with strippers on cakes. Her instructions are pretty easy to follow.

I would probably roll a long snake of gumpaste, then cut the bottom part of it in half lengthwise to be the legs, and then shape them. For the arms, I usually make an indentation with a ball tool in the shoulders and then make the arm stick into the indentation. You do get a line there but you can make the hair falling over the shoulders to cover up the line.

Thanks so much! I was thinking the log thing too. Luckily this isn't due until 3/28, so I have some trial and error room!
