Just wondering what the general thoughts on this is. It seems like when I bake cakes on "convection" they rise higher, so I end up throwing out more when I level them. What are your preferences?

I have both convection and regular bake, on one of my double wall ovens. I tried convection a few times with my cakes but didn't like the way they turned out. Bigger hump for sure, even with baking strips. I went back to using the bake option for cakes and have been happy with the results ever since. Love convection for pot roasts, meat dishes & casseroles though. Can't beat it for that!
