I'm covering a cake board with freezer paper (shiny side up) and I want to decorate the board with fondant/tylose accent pieces.

Should I let them harden and what can I use to make them stick? Thanks.

They don't have to be hardened. You can just attach with icing (BC or RI) or piping gel.
