I had a client request chocolate Bavarian cream from a list of what I could get for filling. She hasn't ever had it and neither have I. She picked my Cream of Coconut Cake (which you can't even tell there is coconut in). Does that sound like an OK combination? And also, is this filling any good? I have to send my husband to get the supplies an hour away so getting it and testing it and getting something else really isn't that simple.

I have had the Choc Bav Cream in the sleeve and it's quite awful. However, I'm not sure what brand it was. I buy a lot of CK products and most all are excellent.

Ever had a Mounds or Almond Joy candy bar? Chocolate and coconut. yum.

I had a client who said that a bakery here tried to pass off the sleeved filling as Bavarian Cream, and it was nothing like the real stuff. What a shocker.

You could actually make it yourself, it's not hard to make and it would taste better than that sleeved junk.
