I need to make a Cotton Candy flavored cake and have seen some reviews on the Lorann Cotton Candy oil that are, unfortunately, not real positive. So, I want to go in a different direction.

Has anyone doctored a cake mix and added anything to it to create a Cotton Candy flavor? Maybe a box of Blue Raspberry Jello (if so, what are the other ingredient measurements). Or, has anyone dissolved actual Cotton Candy in water and added that as the liquid?

I heard someone on here say in another thread (sorry can't remember which one) to use cotton candy sugar in the recipe.
