I know I have read on the topic before but I can't find where. I kinda need to know for tonight...aaah! Does anyone know if there is a way to use silver dust or silver paint to pipe in royal or buttercream or anything???

I am trying to avoid having to go back and pint everything silver...

Nope. You've got to overpaint.

But I'm willing to be proven wrong.

Check out the recipes section here on CC, for the one titled "piping in silver or gold". It's using a thickened piping gel. HTH!

I'm sorry but we ended up altering the design a bit as we worked on that cake and I never ended up trying that recipe. I hope to at some point soon though!
