hope someone can help

always wanted a kitchen aid so go myself one - the kind that the bowl lowers instead of the unit tilting back

i find that when i am creaming butter with sugar or simply doing anything that does not have a huge quantity it does catch the ingredients and does not really mix at all

yesterday was making recipe that called for the 1/2 cup of butter be creamed until smooth - after the mixing blad got to it it did not do much of anything

do people use their units to make smaller batches or resort to one of the old sunbeam oldie by goldie units

thanks

Nope... i use my 6qt for EVERYTHING - but then again, I dont do anything on a small scale ?!?!?

You have to scrap the sides, you can't just turn it on and walk away. If you make small batches, then you could just stick with a hand mixer.
