Hey everyone! I have a few cakes due this weekend and was wanted to get as much done ahead of time as I could. How long will bc keep? I have started to bake And freeze most of my cakes. And the fillings I will postpone until the day before I decorate.
I don't know what recipe you're using, but most American buttercream recipes can last for many months without refrigeration.
Equal parts butter and shortening and confectioners sugar...do you just store in an airtight container...not in the fridge?
