Does anyone have a good Pistachio cupcake recipe, from scratch?

I have found many online but they all want me to use a cake mix and I don't bake that way.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I just bought a book last night, partly for the pistachio cake featured in the book. It is over the top involved, but I could adapt it to cupcakes. It is a pistachio sponge with orange chocolate ganache and orange syrup. It is topped with sweetened whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and blanched pistachios. The book is Bake, by Nick Malgieri. The book has high reviews on amazon. If you are interested, let me know. The recipe is so long I will have to scan it and email it. If you want a basic recipe, this is not the one.

I use Martha Stewart's yellow cake from her baking handbook and add Silver Clouds pistachio extract and a little green coloring. If I have unsalted nuts in the house I add some pieces to it.
