What brand of powder sugar did you use?

I am with TexasSugar. What powder sugar did you use?
The one time I had it happen I used the store brand and didn't sift it. Usually if I do store brand, I make sure to sift. But still prefer not to use it unless absolutely necessary.

Store brand powder sugar can be made with beet sugar rather than pure cake. Beat sugar can make your icing gritty.

There are a few posts that may help you. My computer is being weird and won't let me cut and paste.

But if you click on the search tab under where it says forum and articles and type in "fix and gritty and buttercream' it will bring up some past discussion on the same subject.
