I'm trying to make a large bow. I've mixed fondant with some gumpaste. I roll it out and it is way to stiff, even after a lot of needing and gentle microwaving. Was wondering if I should add some water or some other thing?

Not water -- maybe some Crisco. Try the fondant alone. What kind of fondant? what kind of gumpaste?

Put some crisco on your hands a little at a time and knead it until it feels more pliable and not so stiff. It should work. Be careful & don't add too much or whatever you are making will never harden. HTH

If the crisco doesn't work, add more fondant to the mix icon_wink.gif
