you may want to find out if these stores have food grade airbrushes first. My local ones don't I ordered my airbrush online.

Some people do use non-food grade airbrushes without any problems/concerns as long as they haven't used anything besides edible airbrush spray with it, but i prefer to keep with the food-grade ones.

Same here...I ordered mine from TCP global - no local options.

Aztek 470 would be my preference. No splattering, easy to clean and no needle to bend or replace.

Which one did you end up getting? They have several options. What things should you look for when buying an airbrush for cakes?

Because I don't do many cakes (I've only used it once so far, but it was GREAT!), I purchased the smallest kit: sku: ABD KIT-CAKE-G23-22 // price: $69.98. I called when I placed my order so that I could ask questions since I had no idea where to begin and they were VERY friendly and helpful. HTH.
