Hi Guys,

I have to make some cupcakes for a party, I was told that the B'day girl wants a good amount of frosting and also fondant on the cuppies. How do I go about doing this and covering them in fondant? wouldn't the cream ooze out around the sides of the fondant?

Al tips and help would be greatly appreciated, i've never done it before.

you could pipe buttercream and then add a fondant decoration....maybe a flower or something.

or....you could pipe the buttercream on the cupcake, making sure its relatively flat, and top with a cut piece of round fondant. no need to flatten. that way you can see the fondant and the buttercream. some people like it that way.

good luck!

Not sure if she wants a lot of frosting as height wise or just a lot in general because you could fill the cupcakes with icing which will keep the cuppies relatively flat but also have a lot more frosting than normal... Good Luck!
