Hey all,
I am new to making and selling cakes out of my home. I am unsure how to price Modeling Chocolate or even gumpaste/fondant figures. For example, a client would like sponge bob and some of his friends made for on top of the cake- I realize there is time and supplies to make each figure, so i was just wondering what you guys do.. icon_smile.gif I struggle with pricing in general, especially for close freinds, and delivery fees- and I dont know if wedding cakes would be more than regular cakes.. I have a few of them coming up too! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well, first of all recreating any copyrighted character is copyright infringement. So you couldn't legally charge them anything.

While I haven't made a figure out of gumpaste/fondant and charged for it before, I've heard of others charging up to $30 a figure.
