Hey All.

I'm having a hard time coming up with the dimensions of a tiered square cake that will serve 150. The closest I keep coming is either 20 servings short or 50 servings too many using Earlene's chart. Any thoughts would be helpful...Thanks!

Well you are never gonna get the exact servings from any cake that a Bride requests. She will either have to have a bit more servings which most don't mind anyways or run the risk of not having enough. You can't just make a cake for say 141 people for example...Give her the dimensions both ways and let her decide but make sure she is aware if she decides to go with the less amount..It is her mistake if there isn't enough cake..Contract here!! Cover your butt!!Most brides would rather have too much than not enough....

That's easy... don't use Earlene's chart.

14" x 10" x 6" squares on Wilton chart = 148/166.
