...goes in the Pistachio-Cardamom-Caramel Cake??

I'm somewhat of a newbie, and I've been wanting to try the Pistachio-Cardamom-Caramel Cake by CakeGrlPA or MacsMom for awhile now. The recipe calls for Lorann Pistachio Oil Flavor, but it doesn't say how much. Does anyone know??

Also, I plan to make a simple Pistachio Filling for it, but I'm not too sure on the icing. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations??

I'm not sure about that particular cake, but I use LorAnn strawberry oil in my strawberry cake. 2 capfulls is about 1/2 the dram bottle. You can add 1 and then taste, add more if needed.

Thanks Kristy! I'll try that. Most recipes call for the whole dram....and I thought that would be way too much.

When I use the Lorann oils I use the entire dram. I think you would be safe to use the entire bottle.
