I am in need of some ideas decoration wise for a honor roll cake. The icing will be buttercream and no fondant decorations (even though I may in up using some fondant accents depending). The colors will be blue and white. Help???

I'd scatter As and A+s, maybe some "teacherly" phrases all over it, like "good job" or "way to go".

Cute and thanks. After I posted, I went and researched some pics of previous cakes that was at this prestigous Honor tea for 4th graders. I found two. One similar to your suggestion and a sheet cake with a letter \\"A\\" cake stacked on top. \\"sigh\\"

I got to come up with something today. This could really put me out there in my community.
