I know this is kind of a stupid question but, I've saw so many great looking apple cupcake's on here. I know you can use a tootsie roll for the stem and laffy taffy for the leave, and I have heard that people put a mini chocolate donut on the cupcake then ice. My question is do you start frosting and then put the donut on and keep frosting, or do you start with the donut on the cupcake and then frost it? And what kind of tip is good to use? I think you would need to put a layer of frosting under the donut to make it stay on. I would also let it chill after adding the donut, before you ice over the donut-that way it doesn't fall off while you ice. As long as it's chilled you could dip the cupcake with the donut and get a smooth finish over it
