Hi everyone this is my first post, thanks in advance for your help. I am very new to making cakes and only just making my second cake which is a scrabble board. I have used white icing to cover the cake, edible pens to draw the board and sugarflair food colours - spectral paste to paint the colour squares. I was advised to use vodka with these pastes which I did but some have still not dried yet, and I still need to write over these today before the party. WHAT CAN I DO?

time to make a back up plan - cut out the writing and stick it on top, or pipe on the writing.

Hi brincess_b thanks very much for your advice. We ended up painting on the writing as our edible pens were misbehaving, luckily we managed to get it to cover ok.
