I'm hoping for a little help. I have a client who would like a cake similar to this, and I'm looking for a little guidance. Is the 'lid' likely made out of gumpaste, or actual cake, and how is it positioned to stay secure? Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

I don't know why I cannot seem to get it to attach. It basically looks like a hat box cake. Maybe made from a 9" round double layer, with a baby's head peaking out, and then the lid on top. The top looks like it could be make from a single layer of cake, or gumpaste. Wish I could get the pic to behave....
