I have been requested to make a wedding cake for my Moms second marriage (small gathering-50+people). I am completing three tiers all being different flavors....white, chocolate and strawberry cakes (per her request).
I normally put buttercream icing inbetween my layers- but I wanted to try something different. But unsure what to use. I have used chocolate moose and jams before (just because of going to cake "school"). Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thxs!!
How about a thin layer of pudding? Or some sort of a rich caramel icing? Or maybe add fresh fruits? Yummmmmmm....i am getting hungry for cake now...lol
