My Gumpaste Has Cornstarch On It. How Do I Get It Off?

For exampke the tappits or whatever i roll in the cornstarch it will look powdery...do I wipe or brush it with water or vodka??? i have no idea do you perhaps?

Well what I do is put it in the cooler for a few mins and when I take it out the cake will sweat a lil bit and that takes care of the of the mess.

not water, it will take forever to dry. alcohol, yes. it may also just rub off. or rub another bit of scrap fondant/ gumpaste over it. or use a brush to get it off.

I use a little bit of shortning for this... dab a bit on the areas with a brush or napkin

I use clear vanilla!! Just brush it on with a small soft paint brush and the cornstarch will disappear and it will smell really good too!! Works great!!

a bit of crisco on a paper towel will do the trick, if its something delicate then use a paint brush and lightly brush it with vodka or clear vanilla
