I am searching for a recipe for a cookie that my boss told me about. According to him it is an Amish recipe for what he called an Anise Cookie. The way he described it sounded like it was some type of shortbread cookie that uses the whole anise seed and not just the flavoring. I have searched the web and found nothing that he says could be it. Does anybody have any idea what it could be? He said he had gooten them in PA at an Amish community there. Can anybody help? I would really like to try these cookies.
