how long does red velvet keep? if i make it on wednesday will it be ok to be eaten for christmas as dessert

it will be fine, just put in the fridge and then bring it out christmas day to come up to room temp. Often if i have a lot of cakes i bake on wed for sat orders. Just did that w red velvet and got tons on complements on how good and moist it was
