I have been asked to do a purse cake for a birthday in late Jan. The customer has asked to have several Gospel Tracts coming out of the front pocket on the purse. (The birthday girl is always handing out tracts and witnessing to others). I was thinking of using thin gumpaste rectangles for the tracts and using icing images of a few of the tracts applied to the gumpaste rectangles (each tract is approx. 3 X 5). Although no one will likely eat the "tracts", they will be touching the cake so I wanted them to be food safe. Do Icing Images sound like the best way to accomplish this? Does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks!

It could be cute if you make the tracts have Bible verses about food.
