I was at the store and cream cheese was a good price, so I bought a bunch, even though I already had a bunch at home. I decided to freeze it so it would stay good longer. I recently made frosting with it, but it seemed like the texture changed. Has anyone had this problem? Can I still use this cream cheese for frosting or should I get some fresh stuff?

I don't freeze cream cheese. The brand I use says not to freeze.

Yea, in retrospect freezing the cream cheese was a bad idea. I just hope I can salvage it and still use it for something.
