Cake Filling And Icing. Which One? Thanks!

Im making a 3-layer cake. one layer of french vanilla and 2 layers of devil food cake. I need help deciding the filling and icing. this is what came to my mind

French vanilla ( cake)
strawberry jam (filling)
Devil food cake
chocolate ganache (filling)
Devil food cake
these are the layers with fillings and im thinking to ice to whole cake with chocolate ganache also

how does this sound for vanilla filling instead of strawberry jam- filling with fresh strawberries and some whip cream
or should i add chocolate to the vanilla cake but with oreo crumbs?

one last question. will the chocolate ganache filling get really hard? because I dont want it to get hard.. i want it to stay at a soft consistency

really need help .. thanks! and btw im making a car using fondant decoration or maybe an nba court.

Those flavors sound good. I would stick with strawberry jam filling, otherwise you may need to refrigerate due to whip cream, and will make the ganache hard.
