what food colouring is best to make Gold & silver. I'm making a New years eve cake and need to knowicon_smile.gif thank-you ladies

Okay maybe no -one knowsicon_smile.gif should I use gold & silver dust then?

You could use a gold/silver luster dust or airbrush.

If you use dust, Wilton's silver is pretty. Wilton's gold is very pale and not as vibrant. I would use a different brand for gold.

Hi ladies I just finished polishing the boarder in silver dust using vodka andI must say it's not that bad, but there has to be a better way of applying this dust. From afar it looks great but when u put your nose to it, I can see the imperfections. But that's okay though, most likely I'll be the only one who does.
I'm attempting to make a swag, have any of you ladies made one before? icon_smile.gif
