Help! I have a 12 inch 10 inch and 8 inch cake to stack. Its my first vegan cake ever and covered in fondant. I need to know how many straws to put in each level for support. I am transporting approx. 30 miles today. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Have a wonderful weekend all! Thanks.......

If you can, I would suggest the SPS - if that is not an option, then in my opinion bubble tea straws. There is a rule of thumb for how many, I just can't remember it. I would use 6 in the 12" and 5 in the 10". You might want to use a dowel in the center also. HTH Good Luck!

Definetly, if you use the tea straws and stack it traveling, use the center wooden dowel. Sharpen it really good and drive it on into the base cake board. hth
