I need to make a bunch of roses and want to stiffen my BC. Should I just add a little more PS? Thanks!!!

I use cornstarch.

I stiffen my buttercream rose icing with a lot of powdered sugar. To me, it takes a lot more than you'd think. Just make sure you don't add so much that it makes it dry. You'll know after you make your first rose or two if the icing isn't stiff enough to hold a nice shape. I almost always don't get it stiff enough the first time and need to add even more PS. Let us know how it goes, or how it went if you're finished!
