This is the largest cake I've ever baked. It's a scratch recipe, and the recipe says to bake it at 350. Should I lower the temp to 325 and use a flower nail? Any advice would be great!

Absolutely, lower the oven to 325 and I would use 3 nails if you have them. Place them in a triangle shape to have the heat go through evenly. Post a picture when you are done.
