I am looking for a "custard cake" recipe, but it must be thin layers of sponge with custard fillings.
Any suggestion

why dont you try a simple sponge cake, slice in 3 and layer with custard
Also try using some liquer and fruit juice to moisten each layer of sponge before layering the custard on.
