My five year old daughter's birthday party is today and I have the cake finished and frosted, but she wants me to put John Lennon on top (from the Imagine album.) This should be easy, as I would just paint it on.
My husband purchased the decorating gel- Is there anything I can mix this with to make it thin enough to paint with? Water, milk? Help!

Welcome! I'v learned a lot here at CC.
Try adding Corn Syrup in tiny amounts till you get the consistency you want.
