I'm having a bad cake day! icon_cry.gif How can i can these decals on this Bear and Pup?Customer settled for a 6 inch cake...so these are only about 4 inches high.Is there an easy way to apply the stars and peace signs on them?I was gonna try painting them on,but that isn't working. icon_cry.gif

Can you pipe them on or use fondant decals?

Piping them on like momg9 suggested or those food color markers might work

They're so small that's why i'm having such difficulty. icon_sad.gif I've tried the markers and i think i may have been pressing down to hard because the tip was leaving dot marks and the figures are dry.I've also tried using the fondant to just make shapes...i can pull it off with the stars, but with those peace signs i'm having a tough time because their so dang small.I don't wanna add the fondant decals to one and then use the markers for the other and it look tacky...lol ugh.I can't wait for this day to be over with!

what about making a stencil, hold it up to the bear and dab it with a Q-tip dipped in food colouring?

Along the lines of a stencil... maybe a potato cut to use like a stamp. I did that on my mini soccer balls for cuppies and it worked fairly well.. just cut the potato in half then carve out the shape so it is what sticks out.. it makes a stamp then I painted the "stamp" with color so it would make cleaner lines.. and pressed it against the fondant to stamp it.. just a thought
