I have a recipe for ginger pumpkin muffins that I want to make in a bundt pan for Thanksgiving. Does anyone think I'll have issues with this? I'm sure the baking time will be different, but will the texture of a muffin be too off for a cake?

TIA

This should be posted in "How Do I" forum.

However, are you looking for a cake texture or a muffin texture and just want it in a bundt pan? A muffin recipe is going to be like muffins, more dense and probably will have a dark bottom since you would have to bake it longer than normal.

I personally would look for a different recipe that is designed for a bundt cake. Otherwise, just make them as muffins. They are easy to grab and eat. You can always put a little bit of icing on some of them to dress them up.
