Hi all im TIRED of buying the premade package of cakes mix! I want to make one from Scratch. any yummy easy cake recipes???

I'd start with the scratch chocolate cake on the back of the Hershey's unsweetened cocoa can! It's terrific and reliable. Good luck!

i will search for that can! im in monntreal so not sure if we do. Never saw it.

You shouldn't need to find the actual can. You can search for the recipe online as well.

Hershey's cocoa is not exotic or 'gourmet' or unknown outside the US...surely you have it. Just look in the baking section of your store. If not...just google the recipe on your computer and use whatever cocoa you do have. Just make sure it's not a cocoa MIX like Swiss Miss or something. It's very easy and very delicious. I sometimes add coffee and a tiny pinch of cinnamon. And I've brushed Kahlua on the layers before frosting them as well. And it's good without the embellishments.

One of the best ever scratch chocolate cakes... It can be baked into nice and moist cupcakes too...
